If you can sort through the writing, there's a lot of interesting info here about some Muslim video games. I think the writer makes a pretty basic point here: These Islamic games flip the narrative of pretty standard American war games, though many would like to charge them as being more inventively twisted in nature. The piece kind of goes nowhere beyond that, however, which is disappointing.
I never play war video games, so if you do, and you'd like to share yr deeper insights, I'd love to hear them.
